No big deal...just over here working on a 2020 wall calendar!!
Can you believe we're a few months away from 2020?! I will have wall calendars (yes PLURAL) available for the first time ever starting October 1st. This has been a long time in the making so I can't wait to share these with you. I'm always researching and sampling different products behind the scenes, and this is one I've looked into on and off the past few years. I could not have been more thrilled to get my hands on the final sample a few weeks ago and am very excited to share this. Until then, here's a sneak peek of what I've been working on :) There will be two designs: a brightly decorated life calendar and a flower calendar.
The brightly decorated life calendar (the one I'm working on in all the images above) is inspired by everyday adventures. The pages will take you from enjoying pizza and champagne in a February bubble bath to getting a September desk organized with pencils perfectly sharpened. If you look closely, you'll find rocky henson hiding somewhere on each page (because adventures are more fun when you invite a friend)! I was originally just going to do this calendar, but I was so thrilled with the sample I received in the mail, that I decided to make a second one based around flowers.
Feeling like flowers is something we all have in common over here, I then set off to design the flower calendar. To create this one, I didn't even need to paint anything new. Because I've scanned in every flower painting from the past 6 years onto my computer, I just gathered floral illustrations from the past few years and mixed and matched them in Photoshop until I had the perfect print for each month. You'll be able to see the final product (so pretty!!) when the calendars launch on October 1st.
Whether you display a calendar in your kitchen or your office, I hope the art on each page brightens your day and brings sunshine to all of 2020. Here are a few things to know about each one:
- Each page is printed on beautiful and high quality white 120lb. paper that's similar to what I print these art prints on. Because the quality is so great, you can cut out the art and frame it after each month.
- There is a fun extra page you can tear out and frame at the back of each calendar.
- The calendars are spiral bound and include a small hole punch for hanging.
- Throughout 2020, I'll be emailing out a free digital wallpaper for your tech with a print that matches each brightly decorated life month.
FYI--for more behind the scenes, you can get a glimpse of me painting some of the actual pages here on my instagram story highlights. And you can sign up HERE to be notified via email as soon as they're available on the site.
Thanks for supporting and following along my art journey! XX
